New miniature HD camera gets pulses racing when unveiled at the NAB show in Las Vegas.

Expected to be launched in September 2012, this device is set to lead the way in affordable miniature HD technology. VBOX HD is the first HD system to integrate GPS logging with a 720p CMOS global shutter, eliminating the distortion caused by high vibrations.

Unveiled at the 2011 Autosport show, the new mid-engined 300bhp Caterham-Lolo SP/300R has been designed for a one-make race series starting in 2012.

The new Caterham has been developed alongside engineering firm Lola using a supercharged version of Ford’s 2.0L Duatec engine, and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Modern cars have sensors to monitor everything from exhaust temperature to throttle position. The information from these sensors is communicated over the vehicle CAN system.

We have analysed the CAN signals from the majority of manufacturers to allow you to capture this data. Depending on your car, you may be able to record channels such as RPM, throttle position and steering wheel angle, synchronised with GPS and video data.

To provide journalists with the opportunity to capture their own footage at the launch of the new Panamera GTS, Porsche rented 11 two camera Video VBOX systems.

Held at the stunning Ascari circuit in southern Spain and attended by over 200 of the world’s leading motorsport journalists, all of the 4.8-litre V8 tuned cars were fitted with one of our state of the art video and data loggers to give reporters the chance to walk away with a video of their time on track.
