OLED Display

The perfect partner to VBOX data-loggers. Featuring a bright, daylight readable display, the OLED is fully waterproof, and features sharp graphics and simple operation for easy in-vehicle use. It can show a range of parameters, such as speed, lap-time, g-force, and predictive lap-time. The OLED has an internal accelerometer to flip the display orientation for mounting flexibility, and can start and stop logging in conjunction with some VBOX models.

Accessories

Bullet cameras

The cameras supplied to go with Video VBOX have been carefully selected and then tuned to our specification in order to give the best results possible when used for recording in-car footage. Important factors include the lens, the filter settings, the number of lines of resolution, and the quality of the cable. We think you’ll agree when you see colour reproduction and clarity of the footage, that they are one of the best bullet cameras currently available.

The high resolution cameras we use are based on the Sony HQ1 1/3" CCD and chipset, which gives the highest number of TV lines (550 or 580 depending on your definition), the widest lighting range, and the best colour reproduction.

In the case of the Video VBOX Lite packages, as well as the hi-res version which is used as the main forward facing camera, a lower resolution camera is used for the secondary ‘picture-in-picture’ camera, which offers significant cost savings.

	Battery The 5Ah battery pack will power a Video VBOX with two cameras for over 5 hours, and re-charges in under 3 hours. The battery pack weighs 550 grams and there are two versions, one for the Video VBOX Pro, and one for the Video VBOX Lite.
	Preview monitor The preview monitor screen is designed for aligning and checking the output from the in-car cameras. There are two different versions, one for the Video VBOX Pro, and one for the Video VBOX Lite.

Micro Input Module

The Micro Input Module takes four analogue inputs, and an RPM signal, which can be used to drive the graphics, and are also logged by the Video VBOX. The Micro Input Module works with both the Video VBOX Pro and the Lite.

Mini Input Module

The Mini Input Module is a versatile unit that enables a VBOX to log a number of analogue, digital and thermocouple input signals.

The module can accept eight analogue, two digital and two thermocouple inputs. When used in conjunction with a VBOX MINI, the MIM01 can also output one digital and one analogue signal. Connections are via a removable screw terminal.

Start/Stop Logging Switch

If you have to mount your system out of the reach of the driver's seat, and therefore need a separate logging switch for easy access, here's the solution for you.

Housed in an attractive package, our start stop logging switch is flexible and small enough to fit almost anywhere in your car. There are versions for both Video VBOX Lite and Video VBOX Pro. All have a button for start stop logging, and there are options for connecting to a USB drive for logging, and options for connecting to a preview monitor to ensure cameras are lined up correctly.

Clip-on CAN Interface

In many cases the only way to to connect to a vehicle's CAN Bus is to solder or crimp directly on to the CAN Bus signal wires. This can lead to wrong connections being made or invalidating a vehicle's warranty. With the new Racelogic Clip-on CAN Interface you can connect to the CAN Bus without a physical connection. The CAN interface works by reading the signal through the wires insulation and guarantees that no intrusive signals are sent to the vehicle's CAN Bus or J-Bus.
