Video VBOX Waterproof combines a powerful GPS data logger with a high quality multi-camera video recorder and real-time graphics engine, allowing you to carry out detailed driver training and vehicle analysis whatever the weather.
Housed in a water resistant anodised aluminium casing (IP66), Video VBOX Waterproof incorporates a flange and mounting holes to permit users to bolt the rugged system anywhere on their vehicle.
Video VBOX Waterproof takes video from up to two bullet cameras and combines it with a customisable graphical overlay, recorded on to SD card or USB stick in DVD quality.

Reliability
To maintain reliabilty, high quality Hirose connectors are used throughout, and during development, the units have undergone rigorous vibration testing on our in-house test rig to simulate the harshest of conditions. The GPS engine in each Video VBOX is calibrated using our sophisticated LabSat GPS simulator, in order to maintain the accuracy associated with all VBOX products.
A built in battery tank circuit, maintains power for tempory drop outs in supply and should the power supply become permanently disconnected whilst recording all files are shut down and safely closed.
This hugely important and unique feature makes the frustration of lost video a thing of the past. All other sold state video recorders on the market lose the entire video file if the power drops out temporarily.
Customisation
You can customise all of the graphical elements which are embedded in the video footage using scene design software supplied as part of the package.
The software allows you to pick your own logos, customised gauges, bar graphs, track maps, G force gauges and text and place them anywhere onto the scene. You can also configure the size and layout of the picture in picture for the second camera.

The Video VBOX Waterproof is shipped with one data logger, two cameras- one 580TVL and one 420TVL, GPS antenna, un terminated power cable, USB to mini USB cable, 4GB SD card, two forward facing camera mounts, two dual mono microphones and setup and analysis software.
The Video VBOX waterproof is also available as a Predictive Lap Timing bundle which includes a waterproof OLED display. The display can be used to show LineSnap predictive lap timing, live speed, max speed, G force, lap times and split / best split time. This package includes the Video VBOX Waterproof data logger with 8 CAN channels, VBOX OLED display, two cameras – one 420 TVL and one 580 TVL, GPS antenna, un terminated power cable, USB to mini USB cable, 4GB HD SD card, dual mono microphone, forward facing camera mount and set up and analysis software.
