Team Racelogic takes class win at Croft

After a disappointing finish in the first round at Donington due to electrical gremlins and a faulty steering rack (resulting in a scary moment for Julian), Racelogic’s 2012 FunCup season gained momentum at Croft over the weekend.

Friday’s test was difficult with the car losing power halfway through, dropping 5mph on the back straight. As Scott from JPR (the car preparation team) started to strip down the engine, he noticed that the camshaft caps were loose and hadn’t been torqued up, allowing the camshaft to flap around! Once tightened the engine sounded much healthier and was pulling strongly down the straight.
