Porsche use Video VBOX to promote the new Panamera GTS

To provide journalists with the opportunity to capture their own footage at the launch of the new Panamera GTS, Porsche rented 11 two camera Video VBOX systems.

Held at the stunning Ascari circuit in southern Spain and attended by over 200 of the world’s leading motorsport journalists, all of the 4.8-litre V8 tuned cars were fitted with one of our state of the art video and data loggers to give reporters the chance to walk away with a video of their time on track.

Attending the launch to offer technical support, Racelogic’s International Sales Director, Leander Speth, said: “It was a great event and I think all the journalists appreciated coming away from this remarkable circuit with a video of themselves on track. This car has an incredible 430bhp and sounds absolutely amazing down the straight.”

We have supplied Porsche with VBOX data-loggers for many years for use in test and development, and they saw the high quality video produced by Video VBOX as a great way of giving the journalists a reminder of the event they attended.

Offering viewers the chance to see the speed and G-Force produced on track, the graphic overlaid footage provided by the Video VBOX will undoubtedly get more people interested in the +£90k supercar.
